I really like your enhanced version of this information.  I have introduced to my organzation, and have been excelling with Tableau for about 2 years ... I would only make 1 change per se ... and it really depends on the distribution method ... ie interactive or print ... but would make your right hand table go top to bottom of page and fit all states into the dashboard.  It does not appear to disrupt the US map presentation.  I enjoy the blog and expertise you are sharing!  Thanks!
